Living Islam in America – Graduation Season – Pictures

American Muslim ‘Leaders’ talk about being Muslim in America, while they usually really mean to discuss how to compromise Islam for the sake of American culture.

The Naksibendi Tarikat gives energy on the other hand to disregard social norms which are formed on the basis of Batil, for the sake of Islam. The Way of the Holy Prophet (AS) gives you focus to complete your goals, to master the system offered by the West, and to say, “Now we know what you offer, now you must see what it is Islam offers. I choose Islam.”

MashAllah that these graduates worked hard to be able to discard Christian and secular symbolism for Islam’s sake and wore full sunnah clothing to represent their love of Islam.

Although fitnah has been made about Sheikh Abdul Kerim and his stance on western education, murids are counted from among the graduates in universities such as Columbia University, Rutgers University, University of Maryland, and Stony Brook. MashAllah.

I thanked Allah for having given me victory over my ego (nafs) and said: “O my nafs, by the power of Him who gave you a nature inclined to rebellion and made you susceptible to all kinds of blameworthy traits, I swear I shall not leave you in peace until you live up to the teachings of the Book of Allah and the Way of the Prophet (AS)”
-Ibn Arabi, Ruh al-Quds

Naqshbandi-Kabbani City (Fenton, Michigan) Associated to Video Release Claiming Murder of Sheikh Maulana Nazim’s Wife

April 26, 2010  |  Thoughts  |  20 Comments

Before they attacked Seyh Abdul Kerim Kibrisi, people in Michigan (I have their IP addresses and it goes to Fenton, Michigan), posted the following video. Fenton, Michigan just happens to be the HQ of Naqshbandi Haqqani in Michigan.

So, “some people” in Fenton, MI hacked Sheykh Maulana Nazim’s website saltanat.org and put the following video up. The video was put up 3 weeks ago (you can confirm this by going to youtube).

Livestream confirmed the hack.

Two days later Hisham Kabbani released a talk calling Nabil and Riham “Abu Lahab and Umm Lahab in Cyprus” (referring to the people depicted in this video, who are very close to Maulana in the household) … One day later they called Seyh Abdul Kerim and his wife “Abu Lahab and Umm Lahab in New York”.

Now they complain on sufilive.com (click on broadcast video) of saltanat.org (which is executed in part by Nabil and Riham, but under Sheykh Maulana Nazim’s direct authority).

This video was cross posted into facebook groups, yahoo groups and mailing lists.

Lesson is: if your Sheykh teaches you the manners of calling people Abu Lahab and Umm Lahab, the murids will certainly learn from you.

Notice the similar verbage of “conscience”, “pills”, and “drugs” to the attack on Seyh Abdul Kerim.

Sheykh Mevlana Nazim Adil al-Hakkani Opens New Dergah in Cyprus – to be Managed in the Osmanli Manner by Sheykh Abdul Kerim

Seeing Sheykh Mevlana on a trip to Cyprus is a very blessed but also a very fleeting moment.

His sohbets (talks) are broadcast from his home into the Lefke Dergah on a projector screen.   People who travel far and wide see Maulana very briefly. Mevlana also does not come from the house for prayer at the Dergah.   To catch a glimpse of him one must wait by his home for some time, where he enters a car after Asr Namaz to be driven to some places in Cyprus.   Between that moment of exiting the home and entering the car, one might be so fortunate to be able to see him and kiss his hand.

So one can imagine that is was highly unusual, and also a very blessed event,  when Sheykh Mevlana came to Sheykh Abdul Kerim’s house in Cyprus to visit him.

There Mevlana officiated the opening of a dergah at this temporary location. Mevlana also gave of his own land to Sheykh Abdul Kerim to use for a permanent location.

Sheykh Abdul Kerim was a gracious host and showed Sheykh Mevlana the dergah and made him very comfortable.   Sheykh Mevlana Nazim prayed two rakats immediately.  Then Sheykh Abdul Kerim showed Sheykh Mevlana his Ziyarat (visitation) to Grandshaykhs in India, and events at the Osmanli Dergah in New York.

Sheykh Mevlana was also able to meet murids individually who were staying at the dergah, giving us all a rare opportunity to be in the presence of Sultan ul Awliya Sheykh Muhammad Nazim Adil al-Hakkani.

Sheykh Mevlana’s routine schedule usually involves a car ride around Lefke before maghrib, and a trip to the Cyprus Dergah on Jummah day.
