Osmanli Naksibendi Mureeds in Peru celebrated Eid ul Adha and shared the meat with the poor and toys for children.
Shaykh Effendi is saying that Eid is supposed to be a celebration, but now the nation of Muhammad is heedless. We should remember, if not for Allah’s mercy, it would be the sunnah of Ibrahim (AS) to sacrifice our own sons. Would we be continuing the sacrifice then? Are we ready to sacrifice anything for the sake of Allah?
