Disclaimer: My teachers hold the position that photographs are permitted, though I share them very rarely. This is really the first time I’ve posted pictures of myself since I’ve started my blog over a year ago (s0 as-salamu’alaikum!). I thought there would be some benefit to associate all the writings with a face, as well as to enjoy the innocence of baby-hood in my child alhumdulillah.

The little one pleasantly surprised mom and dad by responding to my contorted funny face by laughing. Determined to find out if this was some sort of fluke, said funny face was made again and again and laughter insued.

However, it seems the Murphy’s law of parenthood took over in that by the time the video camera was loaded and a suitable tape could be found, this funny face was apparantly not as funny anymore
