Naqshbandi-Kabbani City (Fenton, Michigan) Associated to Video Release Claiming Murder of Sheikh Maulana Nazim’s Wife

April 26, 2010  |  Thoughts

Before they attacked Seyh Abdul Kerim Kibrisi, people in Michigan (I have their IP addresses and it goes to Fenton, Michigan), posted the following video. Fenton, Michigan just happens to be the HQ of Naqshbandi Haqqani in Michigan.

So, “some people” in Fenton, MI hacked Sheykh Maulana Nazim’s website saltanat.org and put the following video up. The video was put up 3 weeks ago (you can confirm this by going to youtube).

Livestream confirmed the hack.

Two days later Hisham Kabbani released a talk calling Nabil and Riham “Abu Lahab and Umm Lahab in Cyprus” (referring to the people depicted in this video, who are very close to Maulana in the household) … One day later they called Seyh Abdul Kerim and his wife “Abu Lahab and Umm Lahab in New York”.

Now they complain on sufilive.com (click on broadcast video) of saltanat.org (which is executed in part by Nabil and Riham, but under Sheykh Maulana Nazim’s direct authority).

This video was cross posted into facebook groups, yahoo groups and mailing lists.

Lesson is: if your Sheykh teaches you the manners of calling people Abu Lahab and Umm Lahab, the murids will certainly learn from you.

Notice the similar verbage of “conscience”, “pills”, and “drugs” to the attack on Seyh Abdul Kerim.

  1. Subhan’Allah. This is so terrible. I went to Cyprus and met Nabil. Masha’Allah he is serving Mawlana 24/7 and making him laugh. Why would someone do this???

And this is Sheykh Hisham and his people? Astaghfirullah! How can he be a representative of Mawlana if he is attacking these servants of Mawlana and another Sheykh? This is breaking my heart :(

    Asalaamu alaikum.

i have to say, i didn’t think anything could surprise or sicken me more than this past week and a half already has, but this video definitely did make it worse. If someone with bad feelings about another khalifa had simply kept those feelings to himself, or brought his concerns privately to Maulana Nazim and allowed the Sultan to handle matters as he saw fit, it would have been one thing and we would not now have these drawn out discussions that so many claim make our tariqa “look bad”. But once someone decided that it was fitting to make his paranoias and delusions public, once he decided to spread slander and lies publicly, we have no choice but to stand up and show the truth, inshaAllah. That the slander has continued and been spread far and wide (i have been reading transcriptions or viewing videos on FB and elsewhere, as well as on SufiLive – until they are conveniently removed!) and the same false accusations continue to be made day after day after day is ridiculous. That some people would continue to say “stay out of it” or even worse, defending Sh Kabbani’s right to make these ludicrous attacks is truly heartbreaking. This all has a history, subhanAllah. Some people think these attacks over the past week are a new issue and that we are blowing them up to be bigger than they are. i don’t know how anyone who has heard the words spoken can justify them, subhanAllah. But when you recognize that this is not even really new, that there has been a long-standing campaign of misinformation and envious back-plotting going on… subhanAllah, how can you ignore this? When you see that this behavior is actually the NORM for a person and that it is the norm for mureeds under his direction to speak and act in the same way, with no regard for justice or truth or honesty – or anything that makes up a good Muslim character, much less that of a mureed… subhanAllah. How long can you excuse it? How long can you let it go on? May Allah reward Seyh Effendi Abdul Kerim for his patience and for the example that he sets for us. i am not a good enough mureed that i could spend an evening making du’a for the benefit of someone who has declared himself and avowed enemy. MashaAllah, Seyh Effendi is that high of a station, that he does not think of his own honor in this but prays to Allah on behalf of his oppressor. AlhamdulAllah. May Allah bless all of those – Seyh Effendi and his wife, brother Nabil and sister Riham, and any others who have been lied about. They have their work to do and nothing anyone says can deter them, alhamdulAllah, and with the support of Maulana Nazim, which he makes very clear they have. May Allah open the hearts of those who bear nothing but hatred and greed and envy towards the blessings of others and who are steeped so far in dunya that they don’t even seem to know right from wrong anymore! May Allah continue to bless our Sultan with a long life and true mureeds to surround him, such as Seyh Effendi Abdul Kerim and Hajja Anne. Ameen.

  3. Hasha Astagfirullah ..

    these people have no shame.

  4. Tauba, Tauba, What is this? These people in Michigan have begun a great fitna. There is nothing but evil in this video. These are Sheykh Hisham’s Murids? It’s strange that they refer to the couple as Abu and Umm Lahab, and that Sheykh Hisham did the same in his video about Sheykh Abdul-Kerim. Because of that, I can’t believe that it was done without Sheykh Hisham’s knowledge. This is disgusting and low. What a disgraceful moment. Does Maulana know about this? That his Khalifa is doing this, no less his son-in-law? I can’t imagine even Shaykh Hisham’s murids can defend this video. Just terrible.

    • While it is disgusting and shameful, there’s no proof that Sh. Hisham knew about it or authorized it. If students of a teacher do something disgraceful, it doesn’t speak well of the teacher. But we should take care to not implicate others without proof even if they don’t afford the same courtesy.

      • Right. He just called the man and woman Abu and Umm Lahab two days later and said they were going to Hell. We should not implicate Sheykh Hisham. Absolutely.

        • Um, exactly. You know the cliche “two wrongs don’t make a right”, right? The Abu Lahab thing is not good at all, but you don’t know that Sh. Hisham told anyone to make that stupid video with the masks. Drawing equivalency between the two without proof is not going to do anything good.

  5. Also, those are clearly two men lying under one cover on the same bed. As far as I know, that is open haram.

  6. Salaam

Why are you spreading so much filth? – leave it be and serve your Shaykh be like Sayyidi Bayazid (q)

Be mindful Shaykh Hisham is AhlulBayt and have adab. If he has offended your Shaykh forgive him for the sake of Allah(s)

    • Ahl Bayt in the context that you are using it is a Shia term. Sh. Hisham and all Naqshbandi Haqqanis are (or should be) Sunni. We’re all beggars compared to the sahaba and ahl bayt, awwam and shuyukh both. Being ostensibly a descendant of the Prophet (saws) is not a license to call other Muslims Abu Lahab.

  7. BismillahirRahmanirRahim

I’m waiting to see Maulana’s request on the various video feeds… I don’t trust email conveyances of orders from Cyprus from those that call Shaykh Abdul Kerim Abu Lahab.

  8. Oh one more thing…

    Allahumma Salli `ala Sayyidina Muhammadin
    Tibbil qulubi wa dawaa’iha
    Wa nuril absari wa diya’iha
    Wa `afiyatil abdaani wa shifaa’ha
Wa `ala Aalihi wa Sahbihi wa Sallim

O our Lord! Send blessings on our master Muhammad,
The medicine of hearts and their cure,
The light of eyes and their illumination,
The health of bodies and their healing,
And upon his family, companions, and send peace.

    Mr. Garbage Hani Garbage,

Thank you for posting the message, but…….why are you talking? Can you say anything about the fact that this evil video came from Fenton? Or is there someone else with an agenda against Nabil living there? Or is this simply a test for Nabil?

You have nothing to say, so stay silent. You are right, the Truth has come out. Falsehood is vanishing. You should vanish until you join the side of Truth.

    Destur, Ya Sayidi
    Madet,

@ Tayfur, If shaykh hisham had adab, he wouldn’t be doing half of the things he has done over the last week and a half. So, Plz. don’t claim he has adab. Thanks.

  11. For those who are wondering who Yursil and Ghulam Rasool are talking to, it is me. I had two comments that Yursil originally allowed and then deleted without any adequate explanation. So much for teaching us Osmanli fairness, justice and adab, eh?

  12. Wow, people seem to have way too much time on their hands!
Over 1400 years later, and this is where we’re at?

  13. BismillahirRahmanirRahim

    Rsufi,

No, not all of us, Alhamdulillah. But, this is Akhir-uz-Zaman, and Holy Prophet (ASWS) has foretold about the fitnah we would encounter. And here it is. Insh’Allah we hold tightly to our rightly guided Sheykhs for safety in this time of confusion, and safeguard our faith. Ameen.

  14. Yup, that is the fairness of Sufis. Some people deserve it some people don’t. Two boys were once fighting over a stack of marbles and came to Nasreddin Hoja. He asked them, shall I divide them according to the Justice that is known to you or the Justice of Allah. They asked for the Justice of Allah. Nasreddin Hoja gave one boy 2 marbles and gave the other boy only one. You, Garbage Hani Garbage, don’t deserve any.

  15. The comment rules on this topic are simple: if you believe calling Sh Abdul Kerim “abu lahab” is right then your posts won’t be appearing.
