In celebration of the Silver Jubilee of the Sultan of Perak Darul Ridwan Malaysia, Sultan Aslan is presenting a medal to Haji Baha’uddin Adil Efendi. Baha’uddin Efendi is receiving the medal on behalf of his father, Sheykh Maulana Nazim el Hakkani el Kibrisi. This medal is only given to members of the Sultan’s family, meaning that Sheykh Maulana is a member of the royal family.
There is no higher honor, except for the medal that the Sultan himself wears.

I had no idea that KINGS in this 21st century even spoke like this and not only the kings, their CHILDREN too. In a Muslim world where Kings are busy building their own fortunes and chasing Western evil leaders, it is AMAZING to hear a King call himself a “humble servant” Allah Allaah!! May Allaah (swt) bless him with a long life and keep him in this Way.

The Head of State of Malaysia is the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, currently held by the ruler of Terrenganu, Sultan Mizan Zainul Abidin. Sultan Aslan seems to be the ruler of Perak only, which does not make him Sultan of Malaysia.

Correct me if i’m wrong but i believe that he had held the Yang di-Pertuan Agong before.
and anyway, technically he is a Sultan of Malaysia (although malaysia has many other sultans) more specifically of Perak.
