I refused to have my hand kissed. Then, my Master said, “They are not kissing your hand, they are kissing mine.” Then I was able to accept. Only when someone is proud do I pull my hand away and kiss his instead.
On a slightly off topic. Sidi Yursil, I am due to relocate to Jeddah soon and so was wondering if there are any opportunities in the Hijaz where I would be able to take part in gatherings of praise and remembrance of Allah and his beloved (particularly of the Naqshbandi – Haqqani order).
