Eid al Fitr Hutbe – Shaykh Abdul Kerim al-Kibrisi – 1429 from Yursil on Vimeo.
Sheykh Efendi is saying that all believers must come together, and that we should be happy to be part of the Prophet’s (S) mission to have the light of Islam enter every household.

yursil am i allowed to ask a question here? do i have your permission?
BismillahirRahmanirRahim
Salamu’alaykum,
Anyone can ask questions, they may be answered here or privately via the email you enter on this page

thank you for your kindness and generosity, yursil. i want to ask my question here in front of witnesses, but before i do it i must have your promise that you won’t attempt to answer it but will deliver it to our Shaykh Abdulkarim Effendi and have him answer it if he so wishes. he can answer in private or public. if he does not think it is worth answering then he knows better than me. but you must at least promise that you will give it to him and not attempt to answer. will you promise in front of everyone here?
oh…and wa’alaykum as-Salaam wa rahmatAllahi wa barakatuhu!
BismillahirRahmanirRahim
Salamu’alaykum,
The Prophet Muhammad (Sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) said, “If anyone wants to have his deeds widely publicized, Allah will publicize (his humiliation). And if anyone makes a hypocritical display (of his deeds) Allah will make a display of him.”
-Sahih Muslim
This is an internet page, there are no witnesses really and I’m not a fan of drama or ostentatious discussions (riya).
If you have a question for the Shaykh you can call the dergah and ask speak to Shaykh Effendi. If you are too shy for that or otherwise unable to pick up a phone then you can email me and I will do my best to present it on your behalf. Regardless, it should be a given fact that I don’t attempt to answer on behalf of Shaykh Effendi, that would be extremely disrespectful and out of line.
You can email me at my first name @gmail.com
