Shaykh Effendi is back alhamdulillah, I will still be posting some more saved entries of the trip in Turkey and Cyprus after completing some editing inshaAllah. Thanks to Tahir for the video, mashAllah.

I love how the salawat was recited upon his arrival. it reminds me of how it was recited when Shaykh Moulana was entering the Cyprus Dergah in the earlier vid. you posted.
Ahlan wa Sahlan wa Marhaban wa Khush amady as we say in Farsi [I'd say it in Turkish if I knew ]. Ameen to Sidi Ilyas’s du’aa.
I was about to sleep but did I spy Sidi Khalil there?!
And Sidi Yursil there is a brother there I know but lost his contact some time ago. He is Pakistani, older, and has had a few Naqshbandi Shuyukh in Pakistan I believe. He has some knowledge in Arabic and I have lost his name (in my memory) and his contact info. You can spot him in the beginning of the video to the left. If you can email me his name or get me in contact with him it’d be greatly appreciated. At least, convey my salams to him if he is at the Dergah these days. Just tell him I was once learning Arabic with him, I think he’ll recognize me quick enough
Bismillah.
As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh . . .
Ma sha Allah… It was an honor to kiss the shaykh’s hand and to welcome him. I would surmise that if Sayyidi al-Habib Umar bin Hafiz walked in the airport he would have received a similar welcome from the brothers there, regardless of tariqah.
May Allah bless us all… Amin.
Sincerely your brother and servant,
khalil abu asmaa

Yursil, my screen capture is failing, but my youtube window was running the counter backwards, so its at the 11 second mark. But I also believe he is in the last photo of your latest post, but its not absolutely clear. Sorry for confusion.

Salamu’alaykum Yaser,
How is everything with you?
Yes Khalil joined us, alhamdulillah, unfortunately I didn’t make this video so I couldn’t edit it as he wanted.
As far as the brother, can you email me a screenshot of who it is? 9:41 is pretty late in the 10 min clip and I don’t see anyone on the left side.
