Most tariqats have some way of making a physical bond when giving Bayah.
As the Quran teaches us, “Hold tight to the rope of Allah”.
We can take that in a spiritual sense, but then apply it physically as well. Barakat from reciting the Shahadat and dua’s is inshaAllah something we can then benefit from.
Many thanks. I hadn’t thought of the ayah in that way before.
Makes sense - I guess due to the absence of such behaviour in our common world - it’s intriguing to the mind.
Unfortunately right now we have not created a proper musjid, different areas still under construction.
Currently the dergah itself is where we sleep, eat, do zikr, and recite ilahi’s. In that regard we decorate the dergah in allowing us to worship in celebration and happiness. Our lighting reflects that.
Seyh Effendi mentioned that one day we will have a Musalla with some nice Marble inshaAllah.

The first image is really nice. Never knew that’s what went on in the brother’s quarters
Just one question:
What is the significance of placing the hands on the shoulders?

Sidi, why exactly do you have lights in front of the Musalla? Just curious.

As-Salaam Aliekum brother Yursil.
Very vibrant photos. Just wanted to mention that. And that snow sends the chills down my spine. The Dergah looks good. Hope all is well.
