Now as Sheykh Maulana has taught, I’m not a big fan of applying “democratic” systems in Muslim countries. As I predicted in the past, when Muslims vote for what they really want: “Islam”, which is the sunnat of Sheykh Maulana Nazim, they end up being declared terrorist states and bombed to kingdom come.
For those of us here in America though, there is one debate which I find so amusing:
Electronic Voting Machines
Err, why this big confusion for electronic voting machines which keep votes in a mysterious electronic database table, subject to mass UPDATE commands?
Here is a revolutionary idea:
1) An electronic voting machine that accepts your votes via a touchscreen (EASY and already done)
2) It has a screen which summarizes and lets you review (maybe twice) your vote
3) It prints out your ballot FOR you and GIVES IT to you
4) If you somehow dont like it (keep in mind this is the third time you would be reviewing this thing), then stick it back into the machine, which shreds it and lets you start over
5) When complete you stick your ballot in a box, just like the good old days that the anti-electronic people want. You can even get your fingers inked just like the Iraqi’s!
6) Final votes can be counted from these nice, clearly printed (no hanging chads), ballots
7) A database record can be kept in parallel, as a means to quick count or even stream ‘unofficial’ results.
If a mall Photobooth can do something like this, why can’t we?
I’m going to patent this, if Diebold wants they can owe me hmmm, $500 per machine and they can use this idea!
* Sadly, I’ve been told my business idea is old news, due to the following website:

I think its not old news, I’m still going for the patent. I’m accepting investors.

Asalaamu alaikum.
Sounds like a winner to me!
