Salaams Yursil Effendim,
I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to the Shaykh, your good self and all of the other brothers at the Dergah for recording such uplifting dhikrs and ilayhis. Al hamdu lillah.
May God reward you all with the best of rewards and may He bless our noble Prophet Muhammad, his family, companions and all who follow him in righteousness until the world’s end.
Ma’as salama,
Abdur Rahman
Wassalam Abdur Rahman Effendi,
It is my pleasure to record and our pleasure to share. We are working hard to bring back lost traditions in Islam which had so much meaning, so it is wonderful to see you and others enjoy it.
Ameen Ameen!
As salam alaikum Yursil
Salams again from Peru. Is there some web page where I can find the lyrics of the Illahis that murids use in the Dergah? I am interested in singing them here among murids, insha’Allah.
Your blog is excellent.
Nureddin
as-salamu’alaikum Nureddin!
Salaams from New York
Most of the lyrics are actually from small turkish books which Shaykh Effendi has. They are quite old but inshaAllah I will try to get some lyrics too, I often try to just get the translation itself.
