45. Salat is the zakat of time.
Salat - Muslim ritual prayer
Zakat- Muslim ritual, yearly charity
Interpretation:
Pretty straightforward, in my opinion. Zakat is a form of sacrifice, a sacrifice of ones wealth for charity, for the sake of God.
Salat, is in the same way, a sacrifice from ones time, for the sake of God.

Update: I thought this comment deserved a bump onto the main text.
Abu’l `Ula al-Hindi writes:
The root of zakat is purification… prayer is the purification of the moments of one’s life…
“Prayer prevents lewdity and wrong…”

I think it will be a good idea to link to the original contentions (at Mas’ud) when writing the commentaries. I couldn’t find a link on your blog. (I hope it does not turn out that the link is in an obvious place and I missed it, lol). Just a suggestion

Inshahallah, I will try.
I do try to do that on each contention, but sometimes I forget. If you look at the Contentions Commentary archive, it is linked on most all of them.

Also, (yes, I am finicky) shouldn’t the description of the blog be “A Traditional Muslim’s Blog”? (The apostrophe!) I am only picking faults because I like your blog, so don’t mind, eh?

Alhamdulillah thank you for the correction
I’m still reading, “Eats, Shoots, Leaves”

In Zakat, there’s also the meaning of “increasing”. So, in the same way, Zakat puts baraka into our wealth, Salat puts baraka into our time.
