Unfortunately Taimur, a few years ago I developed a condition which caused me to have 1 to 2 inch “holes” scattered throughout my beard. I was truly unable to grow it properly. Although I did not get a clear answer on the fiqh issues surrounding it, I chose to look slightly less unsightly by shaving whatever remained until the condition was resolved.
Fortunately that has been recently taken care of. thank you for your concern.
