This was a good post brother. It was a bit ahead of its time which is perhaps the reason there are so few comments. One thing I did note was from the following passage,

Perhaps Haroon did include Sufism as &quot;non-traditional&quot; interpretation of Islam. There are those with that opinion, although I am not one of them. I realize this is an old post and may have been reconciled long ago but it was a good find nonetheless.

As a side, I think I am going to reference you more, I have only referenced your writings a few times over the years. I have been reading some of your older posts for a few weeks now and there are a lot of items that could be and some that need to be rehashed.
